Isn't it time you starting fighting low testosterone?

Symptoms of low testosterone can include:

  • Decreased muscle mass & bone density
  • Fatigue & decrease in energy or motivation
  • Increased body fat
  • Low Sex Drive
  • Poor libido
  • Irritability, depression & difficulty concentrating

Hormone optimization you can trust

There is no one-size-fits-all solution to hormone deficiency. That is why we don’t just give you testosterone and call it a day. We monitor other hormones that can be affected by testosterone therapy.  Some men convert a high percentage of testosterone to estrogen due to a process called aromatization. Aromatization can happen due to genetics and/or more in men or women that carry excess fat tissue. However, a common misconception is that all estrogen is bad for men. This is not true, men need estrogen. We keep an eye on estrogen to make sure it is in a healthy range for you.

At Whole Body Balance, we perform an initial comprehensive hormone assessment that includes hormone panels and metabolic markers of health. All subscriptions are mailed to your residence including all supplies you will need to inject the medication. Once enrolled into one of our programs, we monitor hormone and metabolic markers at various follow up time points.

Hormones we can balance include testosterone, estrogen, thyroid, cortisol and human growth hormone. Nutritional deficiencies we can correct that contribute to hormone and overall health include, Iron, ferritin, Vit D and B vitamins.

All of our medical providers have completed extensive training and undergone rigorous testing to receive certification through the Hormone Health Institute. In addition to this, our clinicians have many years of experience in Integrative medicine and holistic health.

Frequently Asked Questions

Testosterone is an anabolic hormone that can help build muscle and burn fat. Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) can provide men and women with several benefits, including:

  • Increased libido
  • Enhanced mental clarity
  • Improved levels of energy
  • Increased motivation

Testosterone cypionate can get injected into a muscle or subcutaneous tissue. We prescribe twice weekly injections in order to give you better results and decrease the chance of risks associated with TRT.

Yes, we work with compounding pharmacies that custom make TRT creams for our male patients that prefer this route over injections.

Dosing can change depending on your pre-existing medical condition/s, monitored blood work, and overall response to the treatment. Depending on your response to treatment, your medical provider may adjust the dosage to meet your needs.

TRT patients may experience redness and soreness at the injection site, so you should rotate injections between different parts of the body to avoid discomfort. Other side effects of testosterone cypionate injections include:

  • Oily skin
  • Night sweats
  • Acne
  • Increased blood pressure
  • Fluid retention can occur initially, but should resolve with time.

Some men undergoing TRT experience testicular atrophy. This is because TRT can stop the production of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH). Without GnRH, the pituitary gland stops making luteinizing hormone (LH). Without LH, the testicles stop secreting testosterone, leading to smaller testicles. HCG has been known to help prevent this in the past. HCG is very expensive, so we use Gonadorelin or Kisspeptin in males concerned about fertility or wanting to maintain testicular volume.

Since our treatment is tailor made to you, our monthly testosterone packages vary according to your individual needs.
